A collection of folk tales, proverbs, songs, as well as works of Kalmyk writers and poets, reproductions of artists dedicated to amazing animals - saigas, which have come to us from time immemorial, are presented to the readers' attention. In these works, the authors show not only the close connection of the saiga - the "eternal nomad" with the life and history of the Kalmyk people, but also reflect their special reverent attitude towards the saiga. Brief references describing the work of the authors precede their works presented in this collection. The compilers do not claim that this collection contains all known works on the saiga, but for those who wish to read more, a bibliographic list of such publications is provided.
